FINALLY finished knitting Brighton from Knitty Spring 2008.
I tied up yarn joins (yes, I knot on a bag or anything else that will be heavily used) and wove in ends as best as possible in a lace pattern.
Yesterday I dug through my fabric stash and found these for the lining and pockets.
Still not sure about the handles but that will come to me once it’s together.
Off to wash and block!
Brighton looks good!
The recipe I used is pretty much this one:
http://mideastfood.about.com/od/breadsrice/r/pitabreadrecipe.htm
I used honey instead of the sugar, and organic bread flour instead of all purpose flour. Also, my dough doubled in size in less than an hour vs. the 3 hours it says here. It might have been my active rise yeast.
Love the skirt & top from the last post! And Brighton is so pretty — I didn’t look close enough at the Knitty pattern to see how neat it is; can’t wait to see how it looks with the fabric sewn in. π
